The Future of Skincare

Natural skin care products...?

What the heck does natural even mean these days?

In a world of automation, advancement and globalization, the disconnect with the nature is quite ubiquitous among the human race.

We wake up, drive to work; sit for hours on end in an indoor setting- drive home, sit inside- watch images and audio on a screen of some sort- have some rapid meals and perhaps some conversations in-between.

rinse and repeat

We engage in feel-good activities like sex, alcohol, junk food, tobacco & other drugs

and still feel tired...

ALL the time.

Still feel empty

Still feel bored.

For those of us in the city, there are some who don't even see the damn color green for most of the day.

Why does that matter you might ask?

We will get to that

The point of this prelude is that the lifestyle of the average city dweller is anything but natural. And this matters because humans are fundamentally natural beings.

Say what?

We are mammals who evolved from an entirely natural source that never left our physiology. It is forever a very integral part of our nature. Where do you think the term motherly instinct comes from? Or herd mentality? Or even "protective instincts?"

So naturally (no pun intended), we feel off the more time we spend away from the source (nature that is). But we have become oh-so disconnected due social conditioning and the "modern lifestyle" that we don't even know what connecting with nature even means anymore. We feel awkward or bored in natural spaces.

"Wheres the stimulation?? I can't just sit here and stare at grass"

Yeah it’s that bad.

Let's put it this way: the disconnect from what we are is so severe that we feel alienated by our own true nature's.

Like a lion who grew up with Gazelles, who is now so disgusted by anyone who is not a vegetarian that they cannot even fathom the intensity of their own iron deficiency.

But this lion feels tired, and they feel out of place and they want to do things that they don't ever do, but they don't know why.

There is still that little voice- a small subtle signal of misalignment.

We have it all the time. It is called uneasy. But can also manifest as boredom, depression, anxiety, emptiness or confusion.

SO THATS WHAT THAT IS

yeah most likely.

What Gleam & Glow is doing, is assisting in bridging this disconnection.

By providing education and options for a more natural you; a more YOU you.

Your body as a natural machine embraces and understands natural compounds as its own kind. It is really that simple. We are of nature and nature is of us

in other words: you can take the human out of nature but you can't take nature out of the human

And so the inevitable return begins;

Natural and organic skincare

is not a fad, it is the future of beauty. And self-care. Consumers are increasingly interested in what they are putting on their skin and want products that are safe, clean, and effective. Natural skincare products are made with ingredients that come from nature, like plants, flowers, and herbs. These ingredients are then handcrafted into products like soaps, lotions, and oils. They are usually vegan and cruelty-free, and they can be used on all skin types, especially sensitive skin. Natural skincare products are not only good for your skin, but they also have a number of other benefits. They are often more affordable than traditional beauty products, and they can be used as part of a healthy skincare routine. Natural skincare products can also be used for healing purposes, like treating acne or eczema. So if you're looking for an alternative to conventional beauty products, natural skincare is the way to go.

The incremental growth

100% natural and organic skincare has become increasingly popular in recent years, as consumers become more aware of the importance of using clean, minimal products that are gentle on the skin. However, not all natural skincare products are created equal. To ensure that you are getting the best possible product, look for one that is made from 100% natural, plant-based ingredients and that is handcrafted in small batches. These products are typically free from synthetic fragrances, parabens, and other harsh chemicals, making them gentle on the skin and safe for long-term use. In addition, they tend to be more effective than mass-produced skincare products, as they are designed to work with the body's natural chemistry. As a result, natural skincare products are the most effective long term way to improve your complexion and overall health.

What does this mean for you?

Gleam & Glow has made this all quite simple really.

When it comes to product development, we really pack in the plant. and accept nothing else

So all you have to do is sit back, apply those herbal concoctions and smell the roses.

Most importantly,

Go stare at some grass sometimes.

The day you find it’s not so boring anymore, you’ll know you’re on your way back home
